Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community.

What is Starting Point?

Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story.

What is the size of a typical group?

Starting Point groups are typically ten participants and four leaders (for a maximum of fourteen people).

When and where does it take place?

Starting Point groups are in session during the winter/spring and fall. They meet in our Starting Point rooms on the east side of the auditorium. The entire Starting Point experience is ten weeks. Each group meeting lasts forty-five minutes.

How do I join a Starting Point group?

We recommend attending a Starting Point orientation. At the orientation you will hear all about Starting Point, be able to ask questions, have an opportunity to sign up for a group. Dates and times of upcoming groups will be shared at the end of each orientation. There is no cost for the materials used in Starting Point.

There is no commitment when you come to the orientation; just show up to find out more! Orientations typically last about 20 minutes, and your children may attend orientation with you.
