The past few months have been a trying time for all of us. You have been in our prayers and we want to say thank you. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you for your faithfulness in watching online and for your dedicated giving. Thank you for praying for the hurting, for salvation, for provision, and for His guidance. We can’t wait to hear of the testimonies that have taken place while we have been absent from one another.
As we emerge from the pandemic, the Elders have been praying about when to reopen the facility. This update is to communicate what we are considering at this time. In making these decisions, we have utilized the Governor’s Back on Track Plans, information from the CDC and local health care officials, and have gathered feedback from churches in the local area as well as from around the U.S.
While we would like to meet together as soon as possible, we want to make sure that we are prepared to handle the extra steps that will be necessary to keep everyone safe before, during, and after the worship experience. As such, when the doors open on June 7th, you will notice that a few things will initially be different. We pray that you will support our decisions, understand why we are taking these measures, and that you will do your part to help adhere to these guidelines.
You can expect additional communications in the coming weeks describing some of the changes that will initially be implemented. For the time being, please continue to engage in the Live Streaming service on Sundays, but as important, we would encourage you to dig into His Word throughout the week.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 states, “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus (NIV).”
Thank you for your prayers, and may God continue to shine His favor on you.
